I wish that I had that look on my face as I walked into the school. I was so nervous. My first day was okay I guess. It depends on how you describe okay.. On my way to school I felt like I had to throw up. Well, not like I had to throw up but if I had a second helping of breakfast I would have. When we got to the school (me and my mom) we just sat in the parking lot for a little while. Either waiting for one of my friends to show up outside or for everyone to go in so I could follow them. None of my friends showed up so I just walked in. I sat in a seat at a table away from everybody. Then one by one my friends came.. But still no Hakeem (for those who don't know who Hakeem is, He is my boyfriend.) After I started seeing some of my friends I started to feel better... until I got lost. The school was so big. Compared to Tanglewood anyway. It was just like a huge square but all your classes aren't on one hall. They are spread around all over the school. I got to see some people I haven't seen since seven or even sixth grade. Some even Elementary School. I guess it was fun. I just didn't like Geometry. I was the only Freshman in the class. I thought for someone like me high school would be easier, just because I already have 2 1/2 credits already out of the way. I was wrong. It was just as hard for me as it would be for anyone else. I hope tomorrow will be better than today.
